A Christmas Carol Radio Reenactment
Raconteur Radio recently performed In Jefferson in The War of the Worlds show and was a huge success! Feedback from my patrons was incredibly positive.
So the Knights of Columbus Council 5510 has invited them back once again for a seasonal favorite. “A CHRISTMAS CAROL”
Raconteur Radio stages theatrical presentations of vintage radio plays, classic works of literature, and pop culture parodies for live audience. Their productions are staged featuring theatrical lighting, period costumes, vintage commercials, Golden Age radio equipment, and extensive sound effects.
Before television there was radio entertainment. The Raconteur Radiobrings the Thrilling Days of the Golden Age of Radio back to life.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL is adapted from Charles Dickens’ classic novel, the story tells of a misanthropic pinchpenny named Ebenezer Scrooge and his ideological, ethical, and emotional transformation after the supernatural visits of Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.
This show will bring back memories of a times forgotten and is also an educational experience for the young.
